Attorney Jack Goodchild is running for LAVAAA President. LAVAAA (Los Angeles Applicants’ Attorneys Association) is a local chapter branch that is part of CAAA (California Applicants’ Attorneys Association). The election is being held on September 9, 2015 at 6:00PM at Anejo Cantina & Grill located at 14755 Ventura Blvd., Sherman Oaks, CA 91403. You must be an attorney and CAAA member to vote.
Jack Goodchild has been a Workers’ Compensation professional representing only injured workers for almost forty years. He has been a certified specialist for 34 years. He is active in the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association (CAAA) and is presently on the Communications Committee trying to fight back against the horrors of the Utilization Review and Independent Medical Review systems. Jack has also worked as a Judge Pro Tem for the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board and has served as an advisor to the California Legislature. He has also arbitrated Workers’ Compensation cases.
Jack Goodchild is presently a member of the State Bar Workers’ Compensation Executive Committee where he is also working to improve the system and reputation of the practitioners within it.
He believes this is a critical time in our profession and that we all need to come together to fight back against the damage that has been done to the system of Workers’ Compensation in California.
Jack takes his role as an Applicant Attorney very seriously and he looks forward to working with all of his colleagues to improve the level of practice in this system and the results which we are able to obtain for the injured workers.
