We are proud of Jack Goodchild as a panelist speaker at 88th Annual Meeting of The State Bar of California discussing current workers’ compensation matters. The panel for the State Bar annual meeting was held on Friday October 9, 2015 from 1:30PM-3:00PM on the topic of Workers’ Compensation Medical Treatment Update. Attorney Jack Goodchild of the Law Offices of Goodchild & Duffy spoke with attorney Jason Marcus of Marcus, Regalado & Marcus in Northern California and attorney David Skaggs of in house counsel for Pacific Comp Insurance.
The panel discussion was very informative and some of the issues that were discussed were of Utilization Review (UR), Independent Medical Review (IMR), Medical Provider Networks (MPN), medical treatment disputes, what defines medical treatment, treatment of non-industrial conditions to treat industrial injuries, including updated case law and regulations on these matters.
